At the Tack Store

I love tack stores. The smell of the leather takes me back to when I used to have a horse. Looking at all the bridles, halters, saddles and other horse related items reminds me of all the great times I used to have riding. The first time I saw some horse racing saddles, I couldn’t believe how tiny they were. I was used to big western saddles, but horse racing saddles looked small even next to English saddles. It’s amazing the jockeys can stay on them! Hopefully someday soon I’ll have a reason to actually buy something at a tack store again!
