Which Hotels in Barcelona are Considered the Best?

My boss always wants to stay in the best hotels whenever he travels. He has just asked me to make travel arrangements for him to go to Barcelona. Can anyone tell me which hotels in Barcelona are considered the best? I want to make sure that I book him into a very good hotel so that he won’t have any complaints when he gets back from his trip. Hopefully there will be a really good hotel near where he has his meetings so it will be convenient for him, otherwise I will have to decide between the quality of the hotel and the convenience and that is always difficult.
