What Should I Put in My Puppy’s Crate?

I am trying to arrange the perfect environment for the new pup I am bringing home in a couple of weeks. What I really want to know is what I should put in the cage that I bought for her? I have read a lot of information on crate training puppys, but I have not seen or read anything about what to put in the cage. My mom told me I should try soft bedding, a couple of chew toys and some water. I wonder if one of those water drip containers would work for a dog. I think I will ask at the pet store.
