“Mom, How Many Days Until Christmas?”

Are your kids driving you crazy asking over and over again how many days until Christmas?  Well, ’tis the season!  There are ways to keep them occupied and keep your sanity until the big day arrives.  Have the whole family involved in a Christmas Countdown.  Advent calendars are a simple way to keep track of the days left until Christmas.  You can purchase one or make your own.  This would be a fantastic craft project for your kids.  Then each day they can open a window in the calendar revealing a picture and the number of days left.  The last window is opened on Christmas Eve.  This is a fun and creative way to channel their excitement over the approaching holiday.
