One of the best ways to protect your building is to make sure that everything is up to code. There is no strict code on fire proofing your building, but some fire rating solutions that are common are using fire proof paint and also fire mortar. This mortar is a quick and easy solution to seal walls and floors. Once in place, it will be much harder for the fire to break through the sealed walls and floors. This will easily give you at least four hours of protection from the fire. This is just one of the many solutions that can be implemented in your building to keep it safe.
