Bird Watching As Hobby

I started bird watching sometime ago. I think it is a cool hobby for me as I love to watch the birds and enjoy the outdoor activities. All I need are a pair of binoculars (they need not be the best binoculars) and a notebook. I would prefer having a pair of binoculars with a good field of view. And if you ever want to buy a notebook to bring along to bird watching trip, I would suggest getting something that has a protective cover in case of raining. One technique to watch birds is to walk along slowly and quietly so that you can catch birds in their natural action without letting them sense your presence.
