The water filtration system my children drank from

September 24th, 2009

We lived in a mountain village with poor water for about four years, some time ago, when our children were young, and although we did get sick occasionally, the water filtration system we had installed on our taps was so good that it let us run our home normally all that time. We had a single candle filter in our bathroom (not the kitchen, because that room had no tap) and would clean it regularly when the dirt and contaminants in the water clogged it up. But that is all the work we did. And day after day the filter gave us good, cool water for drinking and cooking. It served us well and gave us the clean water we needed, when the people in the village were forced to use unclean water.
