New York Under The Snow Is A Big Change

I have this friend who just recently moved to New York from the sunny state of Florida. I told him that it was going to be a very big shift in the way that he lives his life.  The sunny times are not completely gone, but New York under the Snow is a whole other planet in comparison to what he is used to.  The cold weather is also something to consider almost more than show.  Once that wind start picking up in the city it’s hard to believe that there could be an end to it.  The winter seems to drag on and on, but will one day be gone and spring will eventually rise.

On the Job Dental Training

In the state that I just moved from, we did not need a certificate or any type of special schooling to get a job in my specialized field. All we needed was to have experience so when I moved to another state you can imagine what went through my mind when I could not get a job in any of the dental assistant careers without the proper education. I had all the experience but I could not put it to use. Luckily I was easily equipped to get back to school and earn the certification but it was quite scary at the beginning to think I did not have a job.

Taking Blood for the Red Cross

One of the best jobs I have ever had was working for the Red cross. It was such a nice job because I got to see how generous people were by giving of their time to donate blood. There are so many people who do that, and I want to make sure that I am one of those people my whole life. So, I went to get the best phlebotomy training out there so I can take blood at any center anywhere. Once I know how to take blood, I can go to any site that they have, and help take blood.

Age Discrimination for my Job

I have been working in my field for quite a few years, and I have a lot of experience to offer. But I just lost my job, so I have needed to find a new one. At the last interview I went on, I thought I was perfect for the job. Then, I found out that I was not hired because of my age. Now, I want to find a Philadelphia Discrimination Attorney, and sue. I know I should have had that job if it wasn’t for my age. I just want to make sure they don’t do this to anyone else.

Add absinthe cocktails to your menu

The time to learn about making absinthe cocktails is now. Bar staff should be aware of this increasingly popular beverage and make certain it is always stocked along with all the other necessary bottles, such as vodka, rum, whisky, and others.

There are several varieties of absinthe that could be easily obtained and offered to customers. Being able to broaden the menu of drinks available and change the perceptions of what a is typically a rut of repetition in cocktails is important for a bar to thrive and increase business.

A few searches on the internet will bring forward a great wealth of cocktail recipes that use absinthe. Why not try one yourself!

As an Executor

As an executor of a close friend’s will, it’s my duty to take care of his final wishes. My friend has had a long and wonderful life, and it was his time to go. Everyone, as well as myself, accepted that. But, as an executor, I don’t really know what to expect. How much work do you have to do? I also wonder how to prepare for your first probate attorney visit. I know where my friend’s will is located, and other related documents, but I’m not sure what else you’re supposed to have. As an executor, I need to be prepared, for my friend’s sake and that of his family. As an executor, I need to take responsibility.

Finding Information in the Most Unusual Way

My sister was in a car accident and it was clearly the other persons fault but my sister got the ticket.  She went before the judge, with the other person from the accident and things didn’t turn out in her favor.  We talked about it as a family and decided that we would fight the decision of the judge, but we needed the court records of that day with the judge.  We found them in the same area as the public criminal records and got everything we needed to find a lawyer and protest the judges decision.  Who knew you could find that information there?

Pet Care Tips

It’s one thing when your friends, family, or even neighbors ask you to look in after their dogs or to feed their cats while they are away for a day or two.  Heck, I’d even let someone leave their parrot of cockatoo with me for a couple days as it would probably make one interesting conversation piece.  However, I am absolutely up to my eyeballs with people who think that it’s necessary to ask someone to pet sit their pet fish while they are away for a day or two.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like goldfish care isn’t simple, it’s just that I don’t think I need to waste my time dropping a couple flakes into a stupid fish’s tank – especially considering these things don’t live longer than a year or two anyway and often end their lives ungraciously flushed down a toilet.
