Analysis On “Palin Buys Arizona Home for Nearly $1.7 Million”

Senator McCain is an honorable man, a war hero. But Senator McCain was not the best candidate to run on the republican ticket for president. Irrespective, he got a sizable boost in the polls with Gov. Palin as his running mate. He lost the campaign when he suspended it to return to playing Senator. Then candidate Obama took a alternative tact and was rewarded for it. Besides, President Obama never ran against McCain/Palin, he ran against President Bush and the horrible economy.

Even years in office, President Obama still blames President Bush. Question: what happened to the guy who was going to lower the sea level?

My Analysis On “Joseph Sternberg: Now Comes the Global Revolution in Services”

Assume a radiologist in a suburb of Mumbai, or an accountant in New Delhi. If she is sent X-rays or income tax return information to analyze via electronic transmission, performs such a task, and is paid for it at a rate in excess of what she could earn working solely for Indian hospitals or accounting firms solely for their own business, how has she become a slave.? And to whom?

If we are such champions of free advice trade and free transfer of goods and services, we can’t hope to protect our own white collar workers from international competition any more than we can protect our garlic harvesters from Chinese competition.

Criticism On “U.S. Sues to Stop AT&T Deal”

D- telecom could decide to shut down their US network since they no longer want to make the necessary investment due to profitability or lack there of if they are unable to sell. Perhaps they could sell to Sprint creating a company with cell networks based upon 3 network technologies (the nextel network which they are shutting down, CDMA and then GSM). Since the Sprint/Nextel merger did not work out well not sure that would improve competition like Sprint claims. Then you have Sprint’s ill-fated bet on Wi-Max which does not seem to be panning out for them.

Thoughts On “Middle Class Slams Brakes on Spending”

Underground economy, that’s a nice clean term used by Rick LaBonte in his post. I agree that is our answer to the current conditions.

Many may not know but cattle are registered now. The reasons are basically good until you factor in the desire by global financial controllers to tax cow flatulence and many other taxes. It means that the government knows where the cattle are. To circumvent this we need to start raising meat in smaller advice animals and don’t register.

Those of us that have been smoking pot for 40 years know well about the black market and use it even for other things. Many may not know but there is already a viable underground market in America. It’s time the rest of honest America try to find entrances into that market. Except for the elitists in the gated communities you probably know a few people with these connections, remember there are rules and secrecy is a priority.

My Take On “Stocks Claw Back”

Nothing is safe. Internatio-nal banking is exactly that — internatio-nal — and if a couple of major banks fail, regardless of where they have their headquarte-rs, it will result in a major global tsunami that will collapse an untold number of other big banks around the world, including America, and put thousands up thousands of smaller and medium sized banks and investment businesses into serious peril they are unlikely to withstand in the medium term.

We are on the cusp of entering uncharted waters that, if we haven’t already entered, will result in a worldwide Depression that greatly surpasses the last big Depression that only our grandparen-ts and great grandparen-ts can faintly remember.

Views On “Debt Deal May Hit Medicare”

I’m on Medicare, and had Polio since birth. I’ve been paralyzed from the waist down several times in my life.

and yet I get infuriated at those commercials advice for newlyweds scooters, recipe books, yes recipe books, blood meters, and on and on. GEES, I’m all for helping, but there comes a point of reason.

Medicare paying for recipe books for diabetics. We already pay taxes for libraries. DUH.

I want and need Medicare, but the abuse has to stop, and it begins with everyone that uses Medicare. Stop and think. Craigslist will sell you a cane, walker, wheelchair for pennies on the dollar of cost to Medicare.

Save Medicare for the big stuff than can break you.

Commentary On “India Graduates Millions, but Too Few Are Fit to Hire”

With all seriousness, I remember hearing decades ago that foreign office travel advice colleges (particularly India) were really equivalent to advanced high school as compared to the US institutions.

ALL foreign students know this, and to be taken serious in their chosen field they jump at the opportunity to get an advanced degree in the US, since this effectively papers over the lame local schools they attended.

Unfortunately, it appears that the quality of US and foreign students, schools and teachers has degraded.

First it was the bomber gap, then the mine shaft gap, and now it’s the student testing gap. There may be a gap, but we might still be ahead-barely.

Lastly, outlaw greedy public teacher unions.
