I believe that Fouad Adjami is one of those who led us down the path to the two war situation we are now extracting ourselves from. I believe his articles in these pages led up to attack Iraq before the war in Afghanistan was finished. Also, our pusillanimous attitude NOT to go after Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan was a grave error. (What if Hitler were in the Pakistani hills?)
Clearly, we have lost the war in both areas we have attacked and left them open to be satellites of Iran. Our announced withdrawal plans have just given the first date advice for the opening military moves by Iran to occupy part of or all of Iraq and Afghanistan.

A while ago I actually heard a talking head on TV say something like this concerning such and such happening- Recent studies suggest that it might happen that if the events occur they could trigger events that might cause conditions that might be harmful.
So many conditionals that what is was actually said is this – if such and such happens it is about impossible that anything harmful will happen.
As there is very little consumer advices need protection against – so much so that Consumer Protection is itself a euphemism, we now have another layer of what can politely be called obscurity in Politicizing Consumer Protection.

Actually, I do. I regularly hire people off of Craig’s List to do yard work rather than hire one of the established companies. Frankly, my biggest problem with the folks depicted here is that they have no business bringing children into the world that they can’t afford to feed. In this day and age, an unplanned pregnancy advice is simply unacceptable. Yes, there are the rare catastrophic failures of birth control, but they’re just that – rare. The individuals depicted in this article are irresponsible and I’m really tired of having to pay to save them from the consequences of their choices.
