I have been hearing only good things about Daiwa Fishing Rods. People would think I was biased because I have been using Daiwa fishing rods since time immemorial. The thing is, I cannot imagine buying a different brand. Since the first time I have gone fishing, I have been using Daiwa fishing rods. Granted, I have used different product lines under this brand – then again, the quality has been consistently excellent. Each one has been lightweight and flexible. These are probably the two most important qualities of a fishing rod. One needs strength to resist the pull of especially stubborn fish and flexibility to prevent breakage. That I find these in Daiwa leaves me no further reason to try different brands.
