My world view outlook is that many things are changing for the better. I grew up in the 1970′s and that if you wanted to get a record album you went down to the record store and bought the entire album. One of the problems with this is that you might only like one song on the whole album;however you were forced to buy the whole album to have access to the one song that you really liked. My son has been collecting die cast cars for years. I thought he might like to try something new. He loves the Thomas the Train show, so I bought him a couple of train sets. They were such a hit with him. He integrates both the trains and his cars in play. Both collections are growing because of both sets of grandparents, who spoil him rotten. I don’t mind him being spoiled though because when other little boys come over to play, he doesn’t mind sharing at all. When his friends have birthdays, he insists that they need their own train set to play with at home.
