There are thousands, possibly millions of sites and blogs now on the internet all dispensing advice on how to lose weight, you can see a good example here. But that is like walking down the street and having everyone give you advice on what to eat and how to exercise etc – it soon drives you mad, you end up more confused than ever! The best way to learn something is to concentrate on one or two sources you trust and learn solidly from them, that way you cut down the conflicting views and can learn more. Of course later on you will want to expand into different areas and learn the differing views, but you need to focus more at first or you’ll be receiving so much information you’ll never actually absorb any of it.
