I’m 41 and to keep busy I enjoy restoring antique singer sewing machines for my private collection. It wasn’t until last year that I found this truly helpful resource for finding antique sewing machine parts that would have been hard to find. I acquired a 1941 Singer Blackside and the biggest restoration challenge that I had was finding an authentic replacement bobbin case. I spent three weeks going on trips to local flea markets and antique shops in nearby towns only to get frustrated, no one had what I was looking for. I came home one afternoon and my granddaughter noticed how upset I was and asked what had happened. I told her about my little dilemma and she replied with a smirk, got her laptop and after a couple of minutes later showed me to a website. I couldn’t believe it, why didn’t I think of it myself? Thankfully they had the exact bobbin case I was looking for!

About a month ago, I was driving down the interstate on the way to the airport. I had told a friend of mine that I would go and pick him up in exchange for a few bucks. On the way there, I saw a sign that was advertising for a new Rustic Furniture that had just opened. I really liked the way it looked, so I wrote down the details, and kept reminding my self to stop by one the way back. As we were driving back, I completely forgot about the store, and went all the way back home without thinking about it.
