I was trying to tell my sister that she didn’t really want a web site. She wanted a blog. The difference is you can manage your own blog and it’s meant to have a flow of information. A web site is more like a billboard. The information stays stagnant until your designer updates it for you. You may still need a web designer and there are many web design firms in Ann Arbor. But it will help if you do a little research before you contact anyone. If you know what you want and how much time you can put into your web presence, the easier the job will be for the designer.

I am starting a little business working from home, and I want to put up a website just to let people know a bit more about it. I won’t really be selling anything over the internet, just giving the information for people to call me, so I am wondering whether or not any of the free website companies would be likely to let me use one of their websites for this. Most of them don’t let you use the websites for your business from what I understand, which is a bit unfortunate since I can’t afford to pay a lot to put up a website.

I have travelled a number of places thoughout my life and have visited a number of lakes. I own a ski boat and my wife and kids enjoy checking out new lakes. Irun my own business so I am fortunate enough to be able to take off a little more that the average guy. Last week we went to Lake Travis, outside of Austin. I have to say I was really impressed with the number of top notch Lake Travis marinas that we found. There was nothing that we needed that we were unable to buy. We will definitely visit Lake Travis again.

About five years ago I lost my job, and we weren’t able to make our mortgage payments. Eventually the house foreclosed, and we had to rent an apartment. We had worked very hard to rebuild our credit, but the foreclosure certainly took a toll on our credit scores. We didn’t think that we would ever be able to buy a house again, until I saw an ad for mortgage loans for people with bad credit. I decided that I would call and find out some more information, and I was surprised to hear that my recent good credit mattered. We were able to qualify for a loan!

For the last couple of years I have lived with a guy named Andrew that I’ve know since I was a kid. I absolutely love the guy to death and we get along great except for one thing: his computer habits. Firstly, there’s only one computer in the house (mine) and he’s on it all the time. It seems like he has absolutely now concept of sharing. Secondly, he sometimes looks at raunchy websites that tend to somehow slow my computer down or leave embarrassing remnants for others to see. I need to finds some program that does registry error repair and evidence elimination so that Andrew and I can co-exist.
