I know that everyone hates to pay taxes and see a large chunk of their paychecks go toward this purpose. That is why so many people think that it is a good idea to end withholding taxes and move to a different taxation system. However, I am worried about what will happen and whether or not the new system will be even better than the old. The are going to keep taxing us no matter what, and at least when they withhold the taxes we never actually have the money in our hands. I think that is easier for me, just never actually seeing the money.

Mother’s Day is coming up next month. I wanted to send my mother and my mother in law some flowers for this special day. My mother in law lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and my mother is just around the corner. I did on line Yellow Pages search in Pittsburgh and found a shop that was real close to my mother in law’s home. I placed and order and then started look for a shop in our area. I found a nice little shop up the street and placed my order. I am really glad to have this all done ahead of time. Hope someone remembers I am a mother too.

When broadband service first became available in my area I quickly bought in. The difference in speed over dial-up was incredible and the amount of time I was spending online was cut in half. One day, while doing some recreational web surfing, I came across a site that compared broadband providers. I found out that just because my provider was the cheapest broadband provider did not mean that it was the best. In fact, I discovered that my download times are not nearly as fast as they could be. I also discovered that renting the BT phone line in addition to paying the monthly rate for ADSL may not be the most cost-effective service to use.
