Panic Attack Treatment Is Definitely Horses For Courses

Panic attack treatment is very diverse and no two people will react the same to the various types of treatment. Initially it is recommended that one visit a psychiatrist as most disorders can be ‘talked out’ so to speak through simple therapies that don’t incur the side effects that medications may bring. If this is not effective, commonly sufferers will seek anti-depressants and behavioural therapy for treatment. The old ‘breathing a paper bag’ theory has previously been believed to be successful in lessening the immediate effects of a panic attack. While others believe that the exercise will dramatically lower your blood oxygen levels and actually worsen the attack.
